Broccoli sprouts, the young and nutrient-rich shoots of the broccoli plant, contain notably high concentrations of beneficial compounds, particularly glucoraphanin. This compound serves as a precursor to sulforaphane, a potent bioactive molecule extensively studied for its health benefits.
